Meet Your Lip Blush Trainer,

Kerry Welstead

Passionate PMU Artist & Educator

Kerry Welstead’s journey into the world of PMU began in 2016 after losing passion for her corporate career as an HR Business Partner. While researching Microblading for her own brows, she discovered a deep fascination for the art and was inspired to pursue training. Kerry saved up and trained at the renowned Harley Street, London, mastering Microblading and, with tireless practice, quickly honed her craft.

Never one to settle, Kerry expanded her skills by attending advanced Microblading Masterclasses and, in 2017, learned full PMU techniques, including Lips, Brows, and Eyeliner. Her passion for innovation continued during a two-year stint in Canada, where she trained in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) and developed a love for medical areola tattooing. Upon returning to the UK, Kerry further advanced her SMP skills, making her a versatile and sought-after PMU artist.

To date, Kerry has completed 25+ PMU and tattoo courses, from beginner to advanced Masterclasses, and now brings her 8+ years of experience to the training room. In 2019, she earned her teaching qualification and has since launched 11 internationally accredited courses in PMU and SMP. Kerry also co-founded Scalp Sistas Training Academy with her business partner Jessica Abbott and proudly represents the industry as a Pro Artist for Killer Beauty and Derma Calm Beauty. She is also an official trainer for Li-FT Tattoo Removal.
